Junior Planning Engineer
Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Planning Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Planning Engineer, you'll assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring project plans and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Developing Project Plans: Support senior planners in creating project schedules, resource allocation plans, and timelines.
- Monitor Project Progress: Track project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project plans are aligned with project goals.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of project progress, changes, and updates.
- Support Project Meetings: Prepare for and attend project meetings, providing updates and insights as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as engineering, project management, or operations management.
- Basic Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles, scheduling tools, and techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Scheduling Tools: Familiarity with scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Certification: Basic project management certification such as CAPM or equivalent.
