Heritage Renovation Project in Taif

For the Ministry of Culture, we served as Main Contractor for the House of Artisans – Taif History Museum renovation project in Taif, Saudi Arabia. The project transformed the historic building, recognized as Saudi Arabia’s first school, into a museum for arts and cultural heritage.

With a project value of SAR 3.105 million and a total area of 580 sq.m., the works required a specialist approach to heritage renovation and adaptive reuse, balancing the building’s historic character with its new cultural function.

Main Contractor – Renovation Works

Our scope covered the execution and coordination of the renovation works, including management of site activities within the existing historic structure. As Main Contractor, we focused on controlled construction sequencing, quality workmanship, safety, and coordination to support efficient project delivery.

Working with an existing heritage building required careful consideration of site conditions and the integration of museum requirements into the renovated space. Our team applied practical expertise in renovation contracting, construction management, and heritage building refurbishment throughout the project.

Project Outcome

The completed project successfully repurposed a significant educational landmark as the House of Artisans – Taif History Museum, extending the building’s role within Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage.
